A social supermarket is a community-focused grocery store that offers quality food at reduced prices. Members pay a small weekly subscription and can shop for a set amount of items each week, giving them access to nutritious food with dignity and choice.

Becoming a member is simple. Join our waiting list and we'll get in touch when a space becomes available. There's a short registration process where we'll learn about your needs and explain everything you need to know about how the supermarket works.

Most social supermarkets charge a small weekly subscription fee, typically around £5 per week, which allows members to shop for a set amount of items. This model provides dignity and choice while keeping operating costs sustainable for the community.

Absolutely! We rely on volunteers to help with everything from stocking shelves to greeting members and supporting community events. Volunteering is a rewarding way to give back, meet new people, and make a real difference in your community.

There are several ways to support us: one-off or monthly monetary donations, food donations, corporate partnerships, or fundraising on our behalf. Every contribution helps us provide affordable, quality food to more families in our community.

Our supermarket is located in the heart of our community. Visit our contact page to find our full address and opening hours, along with directions and accessibility information.
